What cookies and similar technologies do
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Pixels, local storage and similar technologies can also remember information or measure interactions. Their purpose determines the applicable rules.
The different categories
Essential
Technologies needed for requested functions such as checkout, security, your basket and recording privacy choices. Strictly necessary technologies do not require optional-cookie consent.
Preferences
Technologies that remember optional settings or personalise the experience. Consent is required where no legal exemption applies.
Analytics
Services such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help measure visits and interactions. Optional analytics are subject to the permissions required by applicable law.
Advertising
Google Ads and Meta technologies can measure campaigns and support personalised advertising across services. Consent is required for advertising storage and access where applicable.
Shopify supports store and checkout technologies. Appstle supports subscriptions, Klaviyo supports email-related services, and Cloudflare supports security and infrastructure. Not every provider sets a cookie on every visit.
Session cookies expire when the session ends; persistent cookies remain until their expiry or deletion. The lifetime depends on the individual technology and provider settings. Your browser's site-data controls can show stored cookies and their expiry details.
Making and changing your choice
Use the live store's cookie banner to accept, reject or manage optional technologies where the consent choices are displayed. Optional technologies requiring consent must not be activated before you agree. You can withdraw consent as easily as giving it.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser's settings. Deleting cookies may reset recorded preferences, and blocking essential cookies may affect checkout or other requested functions. If you cannot find or change a consent choice, contact Support@aquerie.com for help.
Cookie preferences apply to the browser or device where they are recorded. You may need to make a choice again on another device, after deleting site data or after a relevant technology change.
